An overabundance of starch is inevitable with traditional grain-based concentrate rations. This excess can have dangerous consequences for horses. Green oats are suitable for preventing this.
Green oats belong to the genus Grasses and are harvested shortly after flowering, before the starch is incorporated into the grain. With a high crude fiber content and low starch content, green oats are a healthy, species-appropriate concentrated feed.
Green oats also have many other positive properties:
They stimulate metabolism and digestion and strengthen the immune system.
They also have a balanced calcium-phosphorus ratio and numerous natural vital substances.
Green oats are guaranteed free of mold and bacteria thanks to the gentle hot-air drying process at Agrobs. This makes them suitable for horses with particular sensitivities or allergies.
Green oats can be used as a structural feed to enhance the basic diet, as the tasty fiber is readily consumed and promotes slow feed intake.
