Bokashi is a fermented organic material that promotes balanced intestinal flora. It contains positive yeasts, fungi, bacteria, vitamins and antioxidants.
Bokashi is recommended if your horse is fed haylage/hay silage/conditioned hay (not if your horse is fed hay), in the following situations:
When you change feed ;
during convalescence;
to promote regular intestinal transit;
to support the coat;
to help maintain a healthy digestive system;
You should also take a preventive course of 2 weeks to 1 month twice a year (in spring and autumn). It is beneficial for the intestinal flora during the transition from one season to the next. This way, your horse will have more energy to enjoy itself.
What is Bokashi?
Bokashi is Japanese for 'well-fermented organic matter'. The principle of conversion by fermentation has been used for centuries to preserve certain ingredients. This method is based on EM (effective micro-organism) technology. Thanks to this fermentation, vitamins, minerals and trace elements become more bio-available. The molasses is entirely consumed by the micro-organisms during fermentation and transformed into precious nutrients!

Bio-bokashi is a probiotic complementary food for animals. Free from synthetic ingredients, additives, preservatives and GMO products. Contains active micro-organisms for healthy intestinal flora and a high-performance immune system.

The raw materials come from certified organic and biodynamic crops:
Barley, linseed, fresh carrots, spelt, oats, Jerusalem artichokes, cane sugar molasses*, bio-spirulina, sea salt, thyme, cumin, shelled sunflower seeds and celery.
*The molasses has been consumed by the micro-organisms during fermentation!

Dosage :
Cure
Body weight up to 10 kg: 3 to 4 teaspoons for several weeks at a time and/or mix with normal food.
From 10 kg: 4 to 5 teaspoons.
Then use daily in small doses.
Always start with half a dose for the first week, then increase the dose as long as the faeces remain good.
