Recycle and compost thanks to efficient micro-organisms!
An incredible system that lets you recycle ALL your kitchen waste into nutrient-rich compost!
You can compost meat, fish, dairy products and even cooked food.
It can also be used to process excrement from your dogs, cats, etc.
How does the Bokashi flat composter work?
Simply place your kitchen waste
in the airtight bucket and sprinkle it with a handful of Bokashi.
Leave
ferment for 15 days, and voilà! You've got valuable compost that has retained all its nutritional energy (unlike traditional compost).
Put the micro-organisms to work using our Bokashi kitchen composter:
- Simple, just sprinkle over the contents of the bucket.
- Fast, 15 days for the waste to turn into compost.
- Small: 2 buckets just 31cm high to process the waste of a family of 4!
- Odourless, thanks to the right micro-organisms, little creatures that are revolutionising composting: Ems (Efficient Micro-Organisms).
These efficient micro-organisms, Ems (developed in Japan in the early 90s), are the real attraction of the system. They are sold in the form of bags known as "Active Bokashi bran bags".
Simple use of the Bokashi balcony composter
The kitchen waste deposited in the kitchen bucket is simply sprinkled with Active Bokashi Son
.
While you regularly fill the kitchen bucket with your waste, you also
the juice at the bottom of the bucket by opening the tap above the cup. This makes an excellent plant fertiliser
for plants and all kinds of vegetation, or to purify your pond water, in 1/100 doses.
The two buckets can be used separately. Once the first bucket is full, leave it to ferment for
ferment for 15 days
During this time, fill the other with your waste.
At the end of the 15 days
Empty the contents of the bucket onto a bed of soil in an aerated container (bin or bucket with a hole in the bottom). Cover lightly with soil to prevent any unpleasant odours. Leave to decompose for a few more weeks and you'll have a rich soil for your plants.
