Organic chia seeds (Salvia hispanica), 500g sachet
Chia is a species of plant in the Lamiaceae family, native to South and Central America. The seeds of this plant are considered to be a valuable natural food - ideal as a dietary supplement.
Chia seeds are completely tasteless and have the capacity to absorb 7 to 12 times their own weight in water. This is how the so-called gel envelope is formed.
Chia seeds contain high levels of calcium, iron, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and vitamins B1, B2 and B3.
The fibre in chia seeds fills you up more quickly and aids digestion. Omega-3 fatty acids are good for your heart, skin and coat. Chia seeds also aid calcium absorption. Chia seeds have relatively little taste and are easy to add to a horse's diet.

When a product is out of stock, I advise you to order it anyway, it usually only takes 10 days. If you wait, there's a good chance that it will also be out of stock next time. My stock is not very large, I do this on purpose to maintain quality. With the exception of the 20kg bags, these are delivered quarterly to order.
