To support the liver and cleanse the intestines

The liver is responsible for neutralising and eliminating all waste products and toxins. It does this in two stages. For the second stage, the liver needs B vitamins, particularly B6 and B12, which are produced in the intestines by special intestinal bacteria.

If the intestinal flora is disturbed and the production and absorption of vitamins B6 and B12 is insufficient, the result is cryptopyrroluria (KPU). This deficiency can lead to serious liver damage. The toxins are then temporarily stored in the connective tissue, tendons and ligaments, as well as in the intercellular space. If the deficiency in vitamins B6 and B12 persists, the body uses an escape route.

The substances resulting from the first stage of detoxification are mainly coupled with zinc, but also with selenium, manganese or iron, so that these minerals are no longer available elsewhere. A progressive deficiency in these trace elements then appears.

EquiKPU compensates for deficiencies in vitamins B6 and B12, and especially zinc, so that the liver can function normally again. But the solution to the problem of KPU must be as follows: during the transition period of six months maximum, during which the deficiencies are compensated for by EquiKPU, the intestines or intestinal flora need to be cleansed. This can be achieved, for example, with East Prussian herbs, bitter Amara herbs, liquorice and the Anise-Cumin-Fennel blend.
