It has long been one of the most important oleaginous fruits in terms of dietary physiology.
Important essential fatty acids :
Hemp seeds contain a particularly high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids.
Omega-3 fatty acids, in particular, are found in such high concentrations in only a few plants.
The taste of the seeds varies from nutty to grassy, and their colour varies between green and brown.

Makana ORGANIC pressed hempseed cake is an individual horse feed made from pure hempseed.
For this reason, it does not contain any intoxicants.
This product should not be confused with hemp essential oil (obtained from distilled leaves and flowers) or hash oil (oily resin extract with a high THC content).

The high fibre content and various vitamins and minerals in hemp seeds are particularly valuable.
The very high content of omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids can provide positive support for the skin, coat and musculoskeletal system.
In addition, our pressed hemp seed meal contains 485 mg/kg iron and 37.7 mg/kg zinc, as well as 0.31% calcium, 0.08% sodium, 0.95% potassium and 0.38% magnesium.
