- Simple food for horses -

Alfalfa, also known as alfalfa, is a member of the snail family, which is grown throughout the world as livestock fodder and feed.

In Central Europe, alfalfa is often found in the wild along roadsides and in wild meadows. Even in early Persia, alfalfa was used as a fodder plant for horses, before finding its way to Greece and later Italy. From there, the plant eventually spread to the rest of the world. Spanish settlers introduced it to Peru and Mexico, monks to Germany and emigrants to Australia and New Zealand, so that today it can be found almost everywhere. Alfalfa is harvested 3 or 4 times a year. It is harvested naturally and dried in hot air.

The dried alfalfa is then cut and pressed into pellets without any additives. Alfalfa pellets are extremely popular and beneficial for horses. They are suitable for maintaining muscle tone and as a daily supplement to the feed ration.

Ideal for horses with little appetite or for horses that need to be fed without cereals.
