It is more commonly known as the sleeping berry, winter cherry or Indian ginseng.

This shrubby plant can grow up to a metre and a half high and belongs to the Solanaceae family. It is found in India, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

For our organic ashwangandha powder, wild ashwagandha roots are harvested in India and subjected to quality control. then subjected to quality control. The roots are first dried in the shade.
