A little advice from practice: most of them put the bucket in an old car tire - something like this happens every now and then or you can sometimes get it for free from companies that offer tire changes. Our shells fit exactly into such tires, but be careful: pay attention to the inside diameter of the car tire! There are different sizes. There is therefore a reusable “impact protection”.

Feeding Tips: Since our mineral feed contains only a minimal amount of molasses, horses generally only eat it when there is a real need for minerals. This mineral feed can only be fed to horses and ponies up to 120 g per animal per day due to the higher levels of trace elements compared to the complete feed.
OKAPI Pâturagemineral + Calcium contains: calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, monocalcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, molasses, green meal, grape seed meal.

Nutritional additives per kg: 8,000 mg zinc (3b605) as zinc sulphate, monohydrate, 4,000 mg iron (3b103) as iron (II) sulphate, monohydrate, 5,000 mg manganese (3b502) as manganese (II) oxide, 2,000 mg copper (3b405) as copper (II) sulphate pentahydrate, 120 mg iodine (3b202) as calcium iodate, water-soluble, 70 mg cobalt (3b304) as coated cobalt (I) carbonate granules, 40 mg selenium (3b801) as sodium selenite.

Analytical constituents: Calcium: 19%, phosphorus: 4%, sodium: 8%, magnesium: 5%

Put the daily ration in a bowl
Offer your horse
if he wishes: let him take 2-3 mouthfuls
Remove the bowl
Offer again the next day
🐴 If your horse doesn't eat the mineral feed, it's usually a sign that he doesn't currently need it. In this case, simply pause for 2 to 3 weeks and offer it again according to the scheme.
If your horse is well balanced, you can also offer him as much mineral food as he wants, for example in the form of a lick tray in the stall.
