To prevent situations of mineral deficiency in soils or in the
hay

Indications:
Since our granulated mineral feed has only a low molasses content, horses do not
eat them only when there is a real need for these substances.
If the feed remains in the feeder, you can stop feeding it for
a few weeks.

OKAPI Mineral Concentrate G (S) is a food supplement which, because of its content
higher in vitamins and trace elements compared to whole foods, should not
be given up to 80g / day per horse.

Feeding advice:
Adult horses are given about 2 - 3 tablespoons (measuring included). Depending on their size,
ponies get about half of it.

Calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, monocalcium phosphate, seed flour

  • What makes our OKAPI

    so special?

✔ recipes regularly revised on the basis of current research

✔ exclusively inorganic minerals and trace elements

✔ no fillers, no brewer's yeast, no oil

✔ no organic selenium, no hidden sugars like apple pomace

✔ only 2-3% molasses (depending on variety) - this is used to bind the dust, not to attract the horse.

As we deliberately omit "tasty components" such as oils or sugars, you can offer our mineral feed according to your needs:

Put the daily ration in a bowl

    Offer your horse

if he wishes: let him take 2-3 mouthfuls

    Remove the bowl

    Offer again the next day

🐴 If your horse doesn't eat the mineral feed, it's usually a sign that he doesn't currently need it. In this case, simply pause for 2 to 3 weeks and offer it again according to the scheme.

If your horse is well balanced, you can also offer him as much mineral food as he wants, for example in the form of a lick tray in the stall.
