A healthy supplement to hay and pasture
Indications:
A horse's digestion depends on the processing of a wide variety of individual plant parts. In most of our stables, hay and pasture grass have become the standard. What's missing is a whole range of plant parts that wild horses once foraged for in scrub and woodland.
In fact, horses have a food spectrum that goes far beyond grass. As well as a huge variety of aromatic herbs, they also like to pick berries and other fruit; they collect nuts and like to nibble on the leaves and twigs of various plants. Thanks to this food, they not only digest raw fibre, but also have access to a whole range of important minerals and secondary plant substances that help them achieve physiological balance.
However, not all horse owners or stable operators have the opportunity to fence off wooded areas or scrubland where their horses can find a wide range of natural plants.
OKAPI leaves and bark (Laub und Rinden) helps you supplement your horse's feed all year round with valuable nutrients from nature. Sprinkled on hay or fed into the trough, OKAPI leaves and bark
broadens your horse's nutritional diet, in line with the natural needs of its species.
OKAPI Leaves and bark (Laub und Rinden) supplements the horse's basic diet with trace elements, fibre and bioflavonoids. OKAPI Leaves and bark should not be given all the time, but only every other week.
