Iceland moss 500 g,

Liquorice root 1 kg,

Aniseed, cumin and fennel mix 1 kg

Horses have sensitive stomachs and react quickly to stress or dietary errors. If symptoms such as empty chewing, increased yawning, tic-tapping or anal discharge occur, the stomach should also be considered. In addition to investigating the causes, the priority is now to provide rapid relief, as an inflamed gastric mucosa is painful, which can cause additional stress.

The products contained in this kit, namely Iceland moss, aniseed-cumin-fennel mixture and liquorice root, protect the mucous membranes and help the body to relieve inflammation.

Give Iceland moss and liquorice root together for three weeks. Liquorice root and Iceland moss should be scalded or boiled before being given to the animal, so that the active ingredients can already be released in the stomach. In case of gastric and intestinal problems, especially gastric ulcers, reinforce the effect with the aniseed-cumin-fennel mixture over a longer period of time. Give the aniseed-cumin-fennel mixture daily.

Iceland moss

contains the magic of the North. Iceland moss, to give it its correct name, is traditionally used for its combination of bitter substances and mucilage. The lichen acids it contains help to stimulate the appetite and restore the desired intestinal environment. The water-soluble mucilage has a protective effect on irritated mucous membranes, allowing them to regenerate more effectively. The mucilage and lichen acids in Iceland moss are effective in the stomach and intestines, as well as in the respiratory tract.

Liquorice root

is a powerful antioxidant that is used to soothe the digestive and respiratory mucous membranes. Its antibacterial and antifungal effects have been scientifically proven. It also has proven anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effects.

The aniseed-cumin-fennel mixture

combats inflammation and reduces bloating and cramps. Aniseed is traditionally used mainly for dyspeptic disorders, while cumin aids digestion and keeps unwanted bacteria at bay. Fennel helps with cramps and inflammation throughout the digestive tract.

If necessary, add other mucilages such as

EquiGaron,  psyllium husks or cooked linseeds – these also form a protective layer on irritated mucous membranes.
