Hypo Balance is a supplement administered to support the PPID.
It can also support hormonal fluctuations involving the pituitary gland. Hormonal balance is not only regulated internally, but also depends on diet and housing conditions.
Hypo Balance also increases the animal's resistance.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor or therapist, twice a day:
Horse 1 scoop
Pony 1/2 scoop
1 scoop of 5 ml contains approximately 3 grams.
Dog > 25 kg half a teaspoon
Dog 10-25 kg quarter of a teaspoon
Dog/cat < 10 kg pinch
If, in practice, it is difficult to administer this product several times a day, once a day is sufficient. In this case, the maximum daily dose should be used. Even in this case, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.
If the reaction improves, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is generally half the dose indicated on the pack.
Be aware of the animal's reaction when you dose this product. At first, a higher dose may be necessary. When the animal's condition improves, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible level.
Some animals may experience a short-lived exacerbation at the start of treatment or react violently. In the event of a severe increase, reduce the dose by half or stop it temporarily, then slowly increase it again.
Administration
Can be administered in food. Moisten (with dry food) the food/powder so that it is not expelled from the feeder.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. It can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If the situation improves, continue to administer the product for a few more days. In the case of long-term discomfort, the effect is generally visible after 1 to 3 weeks.
This product can be administered permanently. It is advisable to take a one-week break every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the "stimulus" to be offered again after the week's break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
Interactions and contraindications
During pregnancy and breast-feeding, always use in consultation with the attending veterinary surgeon.
To date, no adverse reactions to this product have been known or reported.
